Ok. 'Tis done.
I wondered what was up with his first post in this topic.

I picked this name because I didn't want to mix my online identity with my real name (being a kinky slash fan does that to ya), and I was working on a Final Fantasy IX fic at the time with a character who was called Melanchthon, and I liked the look of the name so I went with it.

No studio, keep changing my mind about what to call it so I haven't bothered. I think it would be nice to have a professional-looking animated bumper, but then I realise that I'd have to make one. I wouldn't mind a collabaration video, but I wouldn't join (or create) a studio.

Oh boy...this is a wierd story...but meh.

HorrorPhD - old high school nickname. I was, and still am to an extent, enamoured with the horror genre...which resulted in my having a pretty good knowledge of useless horror trivia in my brain - which sparked the nickname in my circle of friends. I think I've had it as an online identity ever since for just about everything...

Dr. Raven Productions - again, taking from the high school nickname, plus adding a nickname I've had since I was kneehigh to a grasshopper. Eventually the PhD got shortened to "Dr." or "Doc" with the friends I had. And Raven's been the name I've gone by ever since I can remember...even though it's not the name on my birth certificate - it's what the majority of my friends and family call me...I think my mom is the only one who still calls me by my birth name.

Not very exciting, I know...but hey...that's me anyway. :P

Well, suprise suprise, my sn, SenshiMamoru, was because I was addicted to Sailor Moon, and I just loved the name Mamoru, and I figured if I added Senshi, it would sound cool. lol

For the studio, I chose Crescentlight Productions at first because I liked the attack from Sailor Venus, something else derived from SM. Sakura Zuka Studios was the name of the group that asked me to join, but then "The Trois Creations" was formed with two other people. We came up with the name troi since it means three in another language (can't remember which), but I don't see/talk to them anymore. I don't really know what I'm doing for a studio actually. :?

Kionon was created in 1992, originally for amthgard, for those of you who may remember what that is. I think people still play it, altough I have not since the early nineties. It is a combination of my first name, something written in elvish, and a third thing my memory of has long since been lost to antiquity. The spelling is also a greek city, an ancient greek cult, a private that died on the union side in the US Civil War, and a orphan childe from a third world country. I assume these have different pronounciations, and I was only made aware of them recently, they were unknown to me when I created the spelling on my own. Pronouciation is Key-Oh-Nun. Key-Oh-Nen is acceptable, since "Nun" is hard to say fast.

Kionon Productions Limited is the name of my original studio, and really should be easily understood. Limited is a play on Lucasfilms. I have no idea what Limited actually means for a studio, but I found it added something no other AMV studio had.

|: Serious Business Studios :| is a joke that became reality, of sorts. Once created by Corndog VidVids as a studio that mostly #amv regulars were a part of, it has been declared a real studio by myself, Glory Questor, and Satomi (sorta). I believe GQ was the first member of the studio to release a video under SBS. I'm sure there's more to the story...

Nessephanie originated in my head...I made up the name for a character of mine but never actually ended up using it. I decided I liked it though and started using it online a few years back.
It's great cause I'm the only Nessephanie online so i didn't have to worry about having to sit and think of a username and I'm easy to find. ^o^

As for my studio...well it's RDS. So the name and studio were created when Random Variable Productions and Destination Skyline Studios joined together... o:

My nick's from the Dragonlance series. And despite what some people may have thought, the nick is not at all ironic. I am actually short.

And I was recruited to Globocide Productions by Farlo. Before that I was in Goat Productions with nailz1000, and I don't think I ever asked how he came by that name.

Ah, no disrespect meant to Kit or CDVV. As I said, I was sure there was more to the story, and I only knew what I saw, which was pretty late in the game.
