Sweet video, I loved this battle scene :)

About the Quality, you should read this, especially Zero1's post:

Tho I have to say that one is damn tricky, I fell for the upscaling as well for the whole series until I've read this :/

I give it a 5/5 because I'm a freakn' biased Haruhiist!!!

(with that in mind, 4/5 I would normally give it  )

Now, can I spread it across other forums?

Amazing video--I've wanted to do a battle one too. ^-^

Comments:

It's good to see that even kept in its original 1280 size, the AMV looks beautiful. When you're synching like that, I guess the little things are much less apparent. Very good to know. Though I have to ask--did you use any filters on the source footage to make it look cleaner? I'd love to know if you did, for future reference.

The synchs themselves were great... I especially liked the "silent movie" style at the beginning.

Overall, well done. A good video for the best fight scene in Haruhi.

I'm an attention whore from time to time, so sure go ahead :P

And Shiro, I had done the whole video using, well, using video that was less than the quality and resolution that the final is in. I then overlayed the high resolution footage on top of the "old" video and matched it up frame for frame, then tweaked from there.

The only "filtering" of any sort that I did was inreasing the contrast in parts of the last half of the video, and that was just done in Premiere.

Wayyy too big! It doesn't even play properly on my old cruddy machine. :(
Definately looks good from the stills I got though. I'll get back to you if it ever manages to play it properly, haha.

Ya, sorry about that :( I will work on making a smaller file for the "computer-impaired" but hosting is an issue at the moment.
