I finally uploaded this video after it floated around my hard drive for several months and my brain for several more.
This is a fun, simplistic, minimal-subtext video that casts Totoro in the role of the cat that "won't cop out", John Shaft, PI. The similarities between the two are completely superficial, but numerous... well, not really. If you thought Totoro was a forest spirit protecting those little girls, this may cause you to reconsider. Check it out and see for yourself.

This video won 3rd place overall at Animazement 2006. This video is the same as the show version, with slightly improved timing and titles.
