First, the technical. Unless I'm badly mistaken, Champloo is 4:3. This video is 16:9. Moreover, I saw interlace lines at more than one point. They don't look very nice.

Now, the content. There's a lot that can be done with this song. Defiance, rebellion, a character profile, and probably more. You eschewed them all, and went for random action. With questionable timing. You missed a lot of strong beats that you should have hit and used some weaker beats you could have stood to gloss over. Beyond that, the way you jumped back and forth between fights made it unclear what exactly was going on.

After watching this video, I concluded that I had just watched one of two things: either a completely genius video doing something that I completely missed or a random action video. Call it conceited, but I'm going to go with the latter.

Well first I'll mention that the most glaring problem with this video is the interlacing. This video could use series deinterlacing to the max. The only other problems I see is mostly sync and pacing. The points between each chorus seem to drag while attempting some form of lyric sync, but I think you could of taken advantage of some of the beats during such. As for the full out action sequences during the chorus, they were very much entertaining, I think you could of edited them up a little more.

overall I enjoy the video.
