First AMV: Maison Ikkoku-Fix You by Coldplay

Post by elchamp21 » Mon Jun 26, 2006 12:57 am

This is my first AMV I've done though I've been wanting to do it for a while but just haven't had the time and didn't have the tools to do so until just recently. I've been a fan of Maison Ikkoku for a couple of years now after first seeing in college a few years back. The first time I heard this song, it immediately reminded me of Godai and Kyko's story. I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks.

I liked this pairing. Good work for a first vid. I may give you an opinion on this vid if I can find the time (my ops are usually lengthy).

7/10

I have to second WIllen, good for a first video. UNfortunately the visual quality was quite bad. I recommend you the av-tach-guide. You can find it on the main-page in the guide-section. It helps a lot. The video was made up quite simple, but I liked the song and the scene-usage. You based it on a good emotional flow. Alltogether this video is not that special, but a good thing to begin with. Sorry, but I will have to give you 3/5 for it. Keep up the work and keep going ^^.

Thanks for all of the comments and constructive criticism. I hope to build on this first AMV and improve with each one. I haven't had a chance to look at the site in depth but just from browsing around, it seems apparent that there is a wealth of information here that will definitely be helpful.
