Good, solid video. Didn't like the song, but I like how you transitioned from the past to the present. Gives the whole more perspective.

Hmm, not quite sure why I neglected to post here for so long. You know what I thought in general, some very slick editing here. Loved the mood, the piano edits were just brilliant, and overall a very excellent flow. My only complaint, and I will never stop hounding you about this, are those black flashes. I know, they're part of the original source (bastards), but had you /really/ wanted to, you could've edited them out (see: Sto's Samurai X vid), and in my opinion, it would've looked much cleaner like that. But of course, that's just this guy's opinion
Overall, like I said, awsm stuff

Beginning of the vid = awesome
I liked the vid overall, but as the vid progressed the editing seemed to get less interesting to me. After about 1:00, you started to show the scenes more chronologically, which kind of made the vid more predictable (since we've all seen those scenes so many times in that order), and you didn't emphasize some of the beats as heavily as you did at the start. I guess I wanted the vid to be a little more varied with both scenes and editing techniques.
I have to say I've always liked your editing style though. It's always very smooth and natural-looking. Make more.

The higher quality version might be available in the next week or so. I need to clean the footage some more. (and by I, i mean: Koop will write me some scripts for it when he's not hungry : \ )blaku92 wrote:Hey this was great! I kinda liked your Second Coming amv better, but this is one of my favorite Samurai X vids now. Do you happen to have a higher quality version somewhere?
+1 sexyness for Brad.... not that he needed it : \AtomX wrote:*+1 comment*

I didn't know i had a style, or that people paid much attention. I'll try to make more, but i'm incredibly lazy and impatient.silver_moon wrote:Beginning of the vid = awesome![]()

I'm glad I finally got around to watching the last Kenshin OAV a little while back, so unlike when I watch a lot of new AMVs, this time I don't have the urge to go and watch something. Although knowing what happens make this video resonate more.
Nessie and Ileia should <s>beat on</s> encourage you more. This is a great video.
