Clearly Studio DEEN dumped their budget on this final episode; the battles were awesomely dynamic. Even when they got to the epilouge, the little moments and backgrounds were done really well.
Fuji-nee and Ilya definetely became comedy duo in the end. I can't wait to see those omake specials (assuming Geneon is going to release them).
And I probably said it once, and I'll say it again. Saber looks REALLY cute with her hair down.
It's a bittersweet farewell as I predicted; I basically got the same feeling when Tsukihime ended, but Fate/stay night made a bit more hopeful. Execution-wise was really good so the ending didn't seemed to contrived.
Overall in my opinion, this was an awesome series and automatically became my Top 10 favorite. Though I do take note that there were a few hiccups along the way (though according to the original gamers, rather big ones

). Especially when we got some of the side-characters' backstory and having that rushed and/or unexplained. And there few animation spots where they're obviously reused scenes, or instances where character designs were off-modeled. But I'm pretty forgiving.
If Geneon plays their cards right, they could make Fate/stay night a "gateway" series for peeps who like your usual shounen action series to get into the realm of cutesy bishoujo series (like you know, air it on Adult Swim). Now we wait for the English DVD release. I wonder if whoever dubs this will give Saber a cute British accent.
