Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

ANorth AMV - Everything I Know = Weird^2

Post by Haunter103 » Sat May 27, 2006 11:15 pm

This was my entry to Anime North, and I managed to get away with the second honourable mention spot in the open category (the main competition).
I realize the artist and the anime are both well-used by this point, but this particular anime/song pairing hadn't been done before, and I've had this concept stewing for around 3 years now O_O.
Anime: Excel Saga
Song: Everything You Know Is Wrong
Artist: Weird Al
I tried to make it as enjoyable and entertaining for a general audience as possible. That's about it. Check it out: Everything I Know = Weird^2

OK I'm now convinced that Weird Al is an anime fan.

Such high praise from some of you O.O. I wouldn't go so far, but thanks very much ^_^

Just the usual Premiere Pro, with After Effects in one or two places.

Well congratulations when the times comes for that then. I should probably put some funds aside for a new computer myself. I seen a bit a Vegas before, but never actually used it myself. I do know that it could easily have done what I needed AE for though :\
