=\ avid sucks in a way that is isnt created for the basic use of how people make amv's so to say its made for montage and actual live montage not editing like this

Avid is an industrial level editing program, frequently used in television and movie editing. As such, it really isn't suitable for AMV editing and is just too user-unfriendly for my tastes. I used it once when I was working on a community TV show called 'Stained Glass Fish Bowl' and wasn't terribly fond of it, although I realized that it was much more powerful than the Premiere 6.0 I was (and still am) using. I asked my boss for a copy so I could familiarize myself with it some more, but unfortunately the show ended before he could get it to me and I haven't seen him since.
