Aw crap, I'm making a kingdom hearts music vid, insight plz

I started on a couple of vids, going all out with effects and video capturing etc... then I came here. I've been gone for nearly two years off this site.

Anyways I did a Final Fantasy VII music video and then realized just how common that is (mine still owns).

Now I have a Kingdom Hearts music video in the works - in fact i'm about to go to my friends house with my capture card to record him playing get some awesome footage....

BUT thats also verrrryyy common here, and as always the majority of the videos suck. What do you think? Will anything with "Kingdom" and "Hearts" get flamed here?

i think it depends on the quality of your video...

make what you want to make... its your video, i wouldnt worry about flames... cause even if you dont use an over popular video source your video will recieve SOME flames.

KH videos are also very common, though videos with gameplay as well as FMVs are less common.

If you make a video solely based on what strangers on the internet think about you, then I would advise making something with either Naruto or some wildly obscure anime that will make you look super-indie.

I would bet that the "flames" you get are less about your choice of source and more about your moderately obnoxious, "I'm 12 but I rule the world NYAHHHH" attitude. So the KH-or-not-to-KH question is a little beside the point.

Using a particular source doesn't gurantee getting flamed. It's how you use the source that determines public reaction.

are you giving an example or pointing to me... I'm not aware of being so extreme.

.... Why don't people simply try to avoid Kingdom Hearts and Naruto all together and do amvs for shows that isn't on the overkill list.

oh you noticed that. I am giving incorrect advice? you seem to follow what I do, where did I do that? Yeh I am trying to pimp my video.. singular. Good eye.. but my signature keeps getting deleted, thank god an admin finally showed me the size limitations, nobody would give me the correct advice for that.

I agree, I haven't looked at this list in my few years of absence, most of it is unchanged but other things have creeped up on the list

1281 - Bleach - 1.09%

crap, I might as well through out my bleach idea.

1430 - Kingdom Hearts (PS2) - 1.22%

damn, thats quite a few... since I'm already working on this project I'll finish it, but I'll be more aware of this list next time.

I get tired after seeing FIVE videos kind of showing the same thing... you guys must have had to go through.. god.. this is horrible. there should be a quota on the video submission list about how many times a series can b added to a project per month.
