Haha, I maneged to obtained all of the first season, the OVAs, and the most available episodes of second season. After seeing the first 6 episodes, I was dying in laughter. The whole quirkyness of love confessions among the main characters is just awesome. They're able to shift the comedic pace by inserting a few serious moments, but all and all this is very entertaining. And it helps that all the girls are so FU**ING HAWT!!!! Though I'm leaning towards Yakumo as my favorite. 8-)

Great stuff so far. I'm surprised this series hasn't been licensed yet (though given the economic situation with the some anime companies, I guess it's not so surprising after all). I can imagine ADV getting this since they do a good job with comedies.

The anime hasn't been licensed, but the manga has. The manga is licensed by DelRey! X3 The first volume is out too (i have the first and second volumes in Japanese though.. > >)

Yeah, I checked out the manga from a friend of mine as well. I'm surprised how ridiculiously accurate the anime is from the manga; it's pretty much scene by scene and line by line (with a few exceptions like how the anime cuts out that whole seating arrangement scene and how some scenes got rearranged).

I wonder if it'll even get licensed, since according to animenfo, Media Factory has the rights to US distribution.

Ehhh, that's not quite correct. No one in the U.S. has licensed School Rumble anime series. Animenfo probably put Media Factory in there because of the incident where they told that big fansub database everyone knows about to stop distributing their titles. That fansub place has to comply so they marked any Media Factory titles as "licensed", but in reality they aren't.

I'm at episode 16 of season 1, and I have to say. This is one of the few romantic comedies that one hell of a love polygon. There's like so many relationship pairs I have to keep up.

Still very entertaining stuff, and any scene with Yakumo is an instant win! 8-)

I just found this myself. I was Loling so hard at eps 1 almost as much as the baseball episode of Haruhi Suzumiya  Especially when
They passed Takumi on the downlhill in his 86! in the corner no less! on bikes!

Quite an entertaining series I found here, I'm currently on eps 7 of Season 1, and loving most of it, though they seemed to have run alittle low on steam in the last few episodes. I will have to see how the rest turns out. Noein kinda took over my interest as a prioirty at the moment

Haruhi is still my current favorite comedy, but I will be getting the rest of this and season 2 aswell. [/quote]

Completely done with first season! And I have to say, this was one of the most awesome romantic comedies I've in quite awhile. I'm impressed with the number of characters and their relationships that were introduced, and most of them were not totally wasted. Pretty much everyone has their fair share of screentime in the most hilarious fashion. I feel that the whole sports festival episode was the pinnicle of these relationships, and it was executed in such an awesome fashion.

Onward to the OVAs and season 2! :D

Though I bet that thing that happened in the last episode made fans weep in horror. Good thing they continued it, right?
