4) Entries must not exceed 5:00 minutes running time in length.

This one is gonna stop the video I have on timeline now. I have it cut to 6 minutes from the original 9, and that's as far as I can cut the song without losing the story. Oh wait...

6) The following excessive materials are not allowed: nudity, violence, racial or verbal obscenities.

Yep, probably not gonna submit one this year, unless I do a side video. I do love your contest though, and I know where the "arrange for your own shipping" comes from.

Thanks for the compliment BMA we would love to have you submissions unfortunately as you know we are an all ages show and weve got to fit the submissions into 2 hours

Hopefully you will find the time to make something we will be able to show! Make sure you come this year too! We'd love to meet yah!

We have successfully recieved FTP submissions from:

A list of finalists will be posted here after the deadline.

There is still 20 more days to get your submissions in!! So I hope you are all working hard.

We have plenty of room left in all categories (particularly in drama) and definately want to see as many people get their submissions in as possible!!

Another Update!

We have successfully recieved FTP submissions from:

and Faith "MorningBelles" White

With all of the great submissions we have recieved so far this year it's going to be hard for the judges to decide who makes the cut!! One thing is for sure though, this years AMV contest is certainly going to be the best that we have ever run.

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO GET YOUR SUBMISSIONS IN THOUGH!!!
There is still a full week left until the deadline, so keep up the hard work and get them in!!

The AMV contest will be shown at the following times. You will have the chance to vote during the Friday and Saturday Screenings (assuming of course your attending)

AMV Contest
Friday: 3PM
Saturday 3PM
Sunday: TBA (Replay)

Anime Music Video Panel:
Saturday 6PM (Subject to change please check schedule)

Awards Ceremony:
Sunday 3PM - 4PM (During closing ceremonies)

If you have submitted a video and you would like to check if you've won...

If you are in attendence you will be asked to accept your prize and recognition at the awards ceremony Sunday.

If you are in attendence but will not be present on Sunday please contact the AMV coordinator (Drew AKA: Joykiller). If you cant find him just ask someone on staff or in con-ops.

If you are not in attendence please wait for the online announcement of winners and contact Drew at AnimeMidAtlanticAMV@Gmail.com to arrange reciept.
