This would be the easiest way for me to donate to this site.
If you have an account with Amazon.com you could easily donate to your favorite website. I know a few websites that do this, even ones that have illegal torrents for download so it seems anyone can do this.. the only catch is Websites using the service are charged 15% of the total payment per transaction plus $.15. Other than that I don't think there is any charges. So what do you think? Here are some pages with more info.

Just a thought I'd throw out there. If the site decides to use this method, I will throw out another nice donation. I hope this is considered since many of us do have amazon accounts and I don't like messing with paypal. Does anyone else think this might be a good idea to try?
A cool way to donate.

yeah, but like i said, easy. besides that 15% is a lot.. i don't know how paypal does it exactly.. do they charge at all. And it's still something that could be used as an option and not a primary way of donating to the org.Zarxrax wrote:15% is a LARGE chunk of the donations... I doubt the org would go for that. Sounds like a damn rip-off to me.

Paypal charges per donation, 2.9% plus $.30 each. About 6% taken from a $10 donation. As long as people only use it when they're making somewhat large credit-card donations, it's a good deal.
The 15% would be a good plan for the $1-from-everyone donations - where Paypal takes +30%. How much trouble would it be to set that up, though? A new option for people who only want to donate a dollar or two?

I think the best option would be an envelope and a stamp for that kind of thing. International donators would still be SOL, but that's always kinda the case.Arigatomina wrote: The 15% would be a good plan for the $1-from-everyone donations - where Paypal takes +30%.
