Why don't people ...?

I didn't know that QCs existed until I released my first video, though the text box should have tipped me off. It's nice to get QCs, even if it is just one word. It's a nice reminder that people are watching my videos(and hopefully liking them), rather than just seeing that someone gave me another star rating.

Since then, I said to myself that I'll leave more QCs, but it hasn't worked out so well. More often than not, I won't leave a QC. But when I do leave a QC, I'll leave my name and let them know what star rating I gave it.

This is where I get to look stupid. So is it that when you get a QC you don't actually see what star rating that QC comes with? I had always assumed the two things were received together. Ack. Might have to start adding scores to my QCs now then.

That's right. Some people tell what star score they gave after the QC, but - in my experience - it's usually the people who give 4s and 2s. The extremes. I've had a few people I know sign the quick comments and put the star they gave, but it's rare. Flamers get some sort of petty pleasure out of telling you they gave you a 1 or a 2. Most of the QCs I've gotten say nothing about star scores - they're entirely different things.

If I really have nothing to say I just say what I gave it. "3" "4" most of those. If I give it a 2, I say WHY and even though I don't give out 1s too much I say why I'm giving the one. Of couse I leave opinions for everything too so they know where I'm going with my comments.

The thing I despise more than anything is 2s with no comments at all. Great you didn't like my video, fine, but what did you think was wrong with it? Freaking annoying assholes.

i got one that all it said was "A 3" avarge video O.o okay...

as for the annon factor, i find that even though I've left my name on some seriously bad amvs they usually dont get into a "long drawn out" argument with me, or even try to contact me... maybe they dont know the QC is even there?

people who upload project files I'll leave instructions how to fix the problem and sign it and tell them that if they have any problems to contact me and i can explain better... they still dont contact me O.o

I dont contact people who sign the qcs on mine, though i will look up their name to see who it is.. that is if i dont ALREADY KNOW. most of the people who sign qcs to me i know who they are...
