  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Guilty As Charged

Post by Kai Stromler » Wed May 03, 2006 10:57 am

As Charged
music: Guilty of Being Tight by Municipal Waste
anime: Maria-sama ni wa Naisho [Maria-sama ga Miteiru chibi omake]
runtime: like 2 minutes
download: local xvid/mp3, about 23 MB

This video was done for Fanime but is being premiered here early because it's got such a narrow natural appeal that nobody who will be in the audience there will actually see it before it's inflicted on them. If you like listening to thrash or hardcore really loud, and like drinking large amounts of beer while doing so, you will like this video, and you will immediately see where it came from. I did not edit this video drunk, but I got the idea while clipping for this piece (20.5 MB), which I did in a shittier visual mix for the AMV Graveyard, during which I consumed about 4 Stella Artois in the space of maybe an hour and a half.

The "good mix" of the Graveyard piece is a bonus extra that will not be renewed or re-released after it expires on the temporary host; get it while you can, or at least someone posts here informing you not to bother.

I probably should have posted this going into the weekend, but "the weekend" is really a state of mind, and college students across the country will agree that there is nothing technically wrong with "the weekend" starting around lunch on a Wednesday.

Nice idea, but as for me I can't really say I loved it. The lip-sync wasn't good and the whole video weakened towards the end. I would have prefered more extreme scenes. All in all quite funny.

Could have used more lesbian scenes, but on the whole I liked the local version more.

...did I just watch chibi schoolgirls go from vampire hunting to milk chugging competitions?

I think I did, but maybe I'm losing it.
