Full Metal Alchemist - Liberi Fatali (FFVIII theme)

Post by Vistian_Femto » Thu Apr 20, 2006 9:17 am

This is my first AMV. Its of Full Metal Alchemist set to Liberi Fatali (by Nobuo Uematsu). I put a lot of time into it and getting to know Premiere Pro 2 a little better. I appreciate any comments and encourage so. This is an awesome community ... Thanks for viewing!

That was amazing, I think Nobuo himself would be proud of how you used his music. Timing all that musta been a bitch huh? Great job, I've never seen a good FMA AMV till now.

for a first amv that was an excellent attempt.

You captured the mood and atmosphere of certain parts of the song with some excellent scene choices, not only that but you had some pretty good internal synch going too. I quite enjoyed that. Good work.

Thank you so much for your response. Both of you guys seriously put the most huge genuine grin on my face that I've had in quite a while! You are right, the timing was the most time consuming aspect of this video. The slip tool in Premiere is GOD! (^_^) Again, thank you so much and I will be sure to check out your Chobits video as soon as I get home (they frown upon that sort of thing here at work)!

Thank you! I am very much appreciative of your opinion. :-D Question. What are you referring to when you say "internal synch," the harmony? I'm just trying to get a better understanding of what you mean. You have quite the AMV collection ... I will also check quite a few of those out when I get home. Thanks again ... You guys really did make me smile and want to make many many more (the next one is being setup now)! (^_^)

Well it doesnt have any nudity but google videos rejected it if that tells you anything >.>.

I wish I had premiere, I have Windows Movie Maker and Sony Vegas. But I cant use Sony Vegas due to low Ram =/ takes like 10 minutes for vegas to even turn on.

inernal synch is where on a beat instead of chaning from one clip to another, you have something happen in the clip in time with the music. For instance during some of the fight scenes in this video, you'll have a punch or a kick connect on the beat.
