wow people... i just got a "quick comment" from some jerk that reads:

"kind of FUCKED UP version of the song is that??? You're editing ain't great either. Star score=1 "

in response to my toy ninjas video. now i know it's not the best video in the world but i also KNOW that it's not that bad... in fact it usually receives good ratings... i think this comment was totally off base. you can judge for yourself. i would have put this in the opinion exchange section, but i'm not asking for opinions... but you're more than welcome to leave one

if it was simple whinning i wouldn't be posting it here... to the people who seem to think that's all it is, namely Szwagier and MovieMarc, you must need to see and hear the video to know what i mean.

these are problems with it since ya'll don't seem to understand...

1) - the guy says "what kind of FUCKED UP version on of the song is this?" my answer, as should yours, be...... "umm, try the version directly from the album the song comes from.... 'Encore' ... idiot!"

2) - generally, if you're gonna say a video isn't good, and say you're giving the person a 1 for a star rating, why not provide a means of saying why the video was bad? ... I'm forced to use windows movie maker, so maybe maybe the quality of sound wasn't the best ever heard, but quality of sound and VERSION are to completely different things, are they not?

3) - as earlier stated, i used windows movie maker... and not to toot my own horn or anything but, that video i made is NOT bad, and it IS edited better than most. why do i know this you ask? i know because i know a good video when i see and a bad video when i see one; i know because all the general consenus of all the other comments this video received; and i know because of the percentile that this video is in (that being, the 98th percentile for video score, and the 97th percentile for video star rating) despite it being a a video using a rap song, which many of the members of AMVs.org "hate" on. the person who wrote me that comment was simply a HATER and a coward... being that he writes it anonymously.

look, I'm not some little kid or a guy who making anime music eans the world to... the reason i posted this is because i thought it was annoying, not to mention, interesting. the only reason i left a link to download it it is because i figured some people might not have seen it yet and wouldn't understand why this person's comment is so... unbased. if it was about promontion or something like that, i could've chose a better way to promote it, in a better place, don't you think?

furthermore, this site is supposed to be one where if you give critizism you generally give constructive critizism. you don't just leave a comment saying "i hated your video" and give out a bunch of 1s... if you felt that why you can say so, but you back up your statement as to why you disliked it so much; you support your statement with reasons and/or examples.

... this ignorance is usually why i don't come to forums like this...

(now watch some intelligent person reply to this statement something like "so don't come to the forum then" lol... some people are so funny)

if you think it's whinning/promotion/etc... watch the video for yourself, come back and look at the person's comment, and then decide if it's just whinning/promotion/etc.

besides what real reason would i have to promote the video? for something like viewers choice awards? no, the time for that is done, and that's the only contest i've ever competed in, so try again.

I'm not saying your video is bad, i'm just saying the fact that you get bad comment is not an end of the world.... The fact that someone give you star rating of 1 , even if you think you did not deserve it, also isn't something the whole world got to know... It's just a plain, normal thing, and You are making a dramatic event of it , so i'm saying you are whining

About promotion, if you are not trying to do one, than how will you call that?
