Jesus fucking Christ. I want a million dollars and a world without jerks and prejudice, but I can't expect the world to conform to my preferences. I know that, because I am not eight years old.

Please, if your soul is assailed by all these "other people" and their "differences from you," go back to Gaia-Online. You'll be happier there.

Your saying it like I was flaming evertybody. It was just a suggestion, and I cared more about the dang edit button. Do you honestly think I felt that way because I said one line? Really, get over it.

Back the button, I was thinking more of 'edit the first post of your topic', and the suggested method wouldn't really work it you are already on the second page or so.

Maybe I should just walk away now.....

Not yet. If you use the "Multi-Editor Projects" section as your prime example, I think you have a solid chance of getting some sort of edit ability for the Opinion Exchange section. I don't know how they did the coding, but the person who starts MEP threads can update (aka edit) his original post as sections are taken by the people posting in his thread. I don't see why we can't have the same thing in the op exchange section. The only difference is instead of deleting sections as they're claimed by the other posters, the creator of the thread adds names as the exchanges are completed.

Now, if you were just after an all-forum edit button, then, yeah, walk away. It's not going to happen.

A section-specific edit-button request is different. There didn't used to be one for the MEP section. Someone had to have asked for it and provided a reason.

That's just what the MEP section has. Now wait and see if anyone has a reason that couldn't work for the OP section.

That's EXCACTLY what I'm trying to suggest, just you had much better words than I did ^^; It does not matter too me if we get edit buttons for every section, but I thought the edit button for OP exchange would be really helpfull. I never really looked at the MEP, so thank your for suggestion.

Actually, anybody can edit his/her posts in the MEP forum (not just the threads' original posters). It's the same in AMV Contests, Anime Conventions, and Heads Up.

I can see the function being useful in Op Exchanges, but the reasons you're giving don't do particuarly well to help your argument. Forgetting to provide a link with your offer is, I think, a bit careless, and if you want to say 'Okay, can you OP this video instead?' you'd be replying to somebody, so you might as well make a new post for that.
