I love AMVs---matching songs to story concepts has always been one of my favorite passtimes--- but I do nat have the best computer skills nor selection of anime at my disposal...still when I get a good idea I want to see it so bad it hurts.
If I could, I would...Start a mother's/father's day project matching appropriate songs to anime, in the style of other holiday projects, such as the Valentine's day project.
Can anyone help me out? Steal my ideas and produce them? Please?
I'm sure that I could make something like this. But everyone has to start somewhere. You should try it out. Some people get the hand of editing right off the bat, others have to ease into it like myself, it took a while to get to where I am today, I'm not the greatest, but I like what I create. First and foremost, just make what you like to see. Match it to your vision as best as you can, and if you can't figure something out...ask, most people here are nice enough to give people advice or tell them how to do specific things. Not to mention quite a few guides that you can read. If your worried about messing up your vision of how an AMV should have turned out, there is no guarantee that we could do any better. We could use your concept, but you might watch the video and think...I would have put that there instead of the scene they used. In the end, it really comes down to what YOU want to see, what everybody else thinks is secondary. There are a few people who get into editing for the recognition, but a lot of us just like the creation process. Sure it's great when people like your videos, but nothing compares to the feeling of completing an AMV and going "It's beautiful!" with a tear in your eye. (Yes, this has happened to me a few times.)
I'd just go ahead and create on of your vision...who knows? You might have more skill than you think! XD
