Having fun at a deadmans party

Post by Sephiroth » Sun Apr 09, 2006 5:36 pm

Allright i spent a good deal of time and money to get this vid done. I'm not exagerating when i say that i think it's really cool. Its a party and everyones invited.

So sit back, have a few drinks, and dance the night away

This video ROCKS!

The concept is great, the song and visuals just fit in that weird violent hellsingy kind of way. Its a lovely up tempo good time party video, except instead of dancing and drugs, we have guns and death

Everyone go give this a shot

That was a great vid the music fits well and was very entertaining when matched up with hellsing. The visuals were very nice as well 4/5 :D

I liked it though I'm curious, has more of the OVA beyond where they meet Paladin Anderson come out? Some of the scenes don't look familiar.

The OVA is reputed to follow the Manga almost exactly, unlike the series, which followed it a bit and the fell apart because of funding issues/lack of popularity, the first encounter with Anderson in the manga is like the 2 in the series put together, so it won't look familiar to those who only watched the series.

On another note: liked the video, a really cool, lighthearted twist on an anime that uasually treated relatively seriously, nicely edited too.

4/5

No, I've seen the first OVA. I'm wondering if the second one has been released. I read something about another one coming out in august but it wasn't clear if that was the second one, or the third.

If I'd pay more attention I would know the answer. And to make this post useful.... uh... 4/5 stars.

I would've gone with the version of the song that The Last Dance did, but that would've made the video too serious. The juxtaposition of the happy vibe from the original and Hellsing really makes this video what it is. The editing lives up to that, too.

first this vid uses the entire first oav. I imported the thing so i could make a vid with it. The oav is 50 minutes, what most people have seen was the 30 minute preview for it that was on japanese tv.

second. Thanks for liking the vid guys.
