Ephemeral Reality - Envision the possibilities...

Post by Kisanzi » Tue Apr 04, 2006 2:07 pm

I'm done with my new vid and here it is! This one is another dance/action vid but I consider this on to be much better in terms of techinical aspects. I really had to push myself to experiment to make the effects and I've learned a great deal of techniques because of that. But all in all I made this vid because I had so many ideas I still wanted to try after finishing my last AMV. So check it out and I hope you all like it as much as I do!

Anime: Dual!
Music: Visions (Reprise) by Razed in Black

Jesus Christ, Nancy, I couldn't get past the first 30 seconds. Also, you VNS jerks need to stop it with these video names. "Cognitive Dissonance", and
"Ephemeral Reality". BAH. How about "Video with Stuff" or "Look what I can do with Squares"?

I prefer "VRRROOOOOMMMMM" personally :P

Hot stuff, per usual, nice to see some new and inventive effects and such, car parts continue to flash prettily by, but yeah, good work, now finish your drama vid :o

"How track-mattingly original."
"A masking success!."

Joking aside, it was refreshing to see an old "classic" used for an AMV, and one that emphasizes the drama/scifi instead of the comedy. I can't decide if I like it, yet, but it definately made me sit up and take notice. Nice job.

There were some parts that I really liked how they were done, and others that I really didn't care for the effects used. I've never been one to like the boxes or shapes flying over the screen hehe, so there were a few parts I kinda cringed at. Sowwies. I really liked the song and the beginning was nice, as well the effects used at 2:16 looked sweet. The scribbes towards the ending looked cool and fit the tone of the song well too.

Overall not one of my favorites, but well done Nancy <3

Eyecandy ftw. Hot shit right here. I Can see lots of work went into this, hope to see more stuff like this in the future.

ps - That wave/ribbon/string/FSM effect looked sweet.
