Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I'm happy you also enjoyed my segment. As for a stand alone release? I'll think about it. :)

Congratulations on making the first MEP that I've watched all the way through without getting bored out of my fucking mind. And that is saying A LOT.

What codec is used for the local file? Both (latest versions) MPC and VLC were unable to display the video. The music came through fine, just no video.

Actually it's not my job to answer every comment here, but I guess some need a response ;)

Well, I didn't know you were still active since I didn't see you around for a year or so. And hey if you proof to be worthy you might get a slot in the sequel (if I make one).

Uhm ... it's using h264. Get this then it should be fine. Or just get the XviD or the WMV9 version.

Well, strange that no one used the prior metalanime. But actually Cerebral Assamite (who had to drop) used it, maybe next time.
rubyeye wrote:I wonder if this video could be entered into an AMV contest at any conventions? That would be cool!
Well, I'll enter it at Connichi's Expo this year and I would take it along to Almelo as well but there's no Expo so I guess that'd be in vain. I also think that Tseng wanted to enter it at the Amecon. I don't know about other Cons though, if you'd like to submit it to any con just tell me ;).

And overall I'm happy it seems that most people like our little gift :)

Because of the interlacing issues in the first segment and the rough transition into the last segment (come on, who fades up into something aggressive out of "Ex Nihilo"??), this project gets 6/7 Metal Hammer-style points...which would come out as 5 stars if I'd gotten the local version.

Great job, y'all! Look, even Abbath liked it: Image

Yeah. long live Immortal, or at least their records. Thanks for your comment Kai. I guess War will have had his reasons to use this transition, but I can't give you more detailed information.
