Action/Romance

There's this wonderful breakbeat song I found, but I need the right anime to fit it. Something that has lots of action, as well as a deep love story to it. The closest I got were Elfen Lied, Cowboy Bebop, and Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X. The latter two felt too cliche, while Elfen Lied feels too...what's the word I'm looking for..."disturbing" for such subject matter. So are there any other good suggestions that I could use?

You could do a Gundam Wing one about Heero & Relena if you're going for Action/Romance.

You could try Weiss Kreuz, or maybe GetBackers.

Action and romance? ... Well, Escaflowne's always a safe bet.
