I haven't seen the movie though..so i'm not sure... But they showed a dragon thing and it had Envy written next to it, so i got REALLY confused.. @_@
Quick, spoiler-light explanation for that (...it's tricky explaining the movie by this point since a lot of what sets it up is in the coming episodes.)

what made him interesting was at first you cant tell if he's a he/she.

i personally found Greed fascinating, i imagine up what i fight would look like if he fought someone other than Ed, like if he had fought Armstong back in the tunnel instead of Roa, and probably because he wasn't an ass like the other male homunculi, he(aside from Lust) was the only one that could have been used as an ally if the circumstances had been different.

True, Greed is the only one, besides Lust recently (but not to the same extent), that didn't blindly follow orders. He would have been interesting as an ally. Too bad he was in so few episodes. I loved that character! And the chimera!

To me, Envy wasn't that interested nor was shim that great of a character. Yes, Envy was funny, brought some sadisticness into the series, but the basic of that character was that shim was an ass. A horrible, horrible ass. Very childlike, as well as every un-envy like, to me at least... *guess which char Winged hates most* XD

And Greed just is the smex. I loved how he just was independant, deciding to do things his way. I also loved how he spurred such loyalty among the chimeras. It was very sweet to see that.

yeah, he truely had an independentness to him, and somehow he was able to make cowboy boots, leather pants, and that weird furry jacket look cool.

Another vote for Greed over here. True, each of the homunculi had their own agendas, but initially he was the only one actually willing to go out and get it for himself.
Plus, he obviously had to be doing something right to have followers as loyal as the 5th Lab chimeras were to him.

As for Envy...I dunno...I tried to feel pity for him, but a little voice inside my head just keeps coming back to:

yeah that dirty bastard, but it could have been worse, Gluttony could have been the one to kill him, followed by devouring him in a gruesome manner.

now, without leaving this topic because i find it interesting, something about Hohopapa, he left because he saw his body was getting stale right, BUT! how was he able keep himself able for 10 years without his face and hands getting nasty, i mean, he had a pretty big spot on him and 10 years is a long time and apparently alchemy doesn't help to maintain it. so like, whats his secret?

Not sure if this would be a spoiler or not wrote: From the way Dante was talking, I'd gotten the impression he took off with their stash of Philosopher's Stone, and it's because of that that he was able to sustain himself this long (including holding off the rot) while she's had to resort to body-jumping.
That's my take on it, anyways
