Im sorry everyone this might be off topic...
But your site is the closet thing Ive seen to what Im looking for... but not exactly... Im wondering if anyone knows any site dedicated to fan music videos made to movies and not anime? Ive been working on a FF7:AC video and a Sin City one and Id like somewhere to show them off and talk to others about ones from other movies... thanks

surf around livejournal, theres a few communities there that are into just vidding.. you can also share them on communities dedicated to those movies...

For some, a good few hours might be dedicated to just a single effect.
It depends on your particular editing style (or the style of the video you're working on) and knowledge of the program you're using. If you have a simpler way of doing things and know what you're doing with the program, it'll take a short amount of time. I recently made a two-minute video within a week, giving it a few hours each evening to work on. That time didn't include the ripping and other preparation steps.

I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 2004 because it's cheap, rarely crashes, and does what I want it to (except take .avs files, but there are ways around that). Hardly anyone on the forums uses Magix though, so if you want your questions answered here you're better off with Premiere.somebody111 wrote:Also what program do most of you use? I was told to get Adobe Premeire... so thats what Im learning right now.

I dunno, what do you mean by 'this' and 'it'? It's not impossible to make a good video in a few hours, but it's pretty rare.about how long does it take to make a fan video of decent quality? Im new to this but I tend to grasp concepts pretty fast... I figure it would take a good few hours
