Remember, this is only my opinion.

The Good: an Okay first vid, not the best by any means, but still not bad. It was a little enjoyable, so it's good, just not excelent. Some of your beats were dead on like 1:10-1:11, but usually it wouldn't last too long (for example: 1:12-1:15 could have used more attention on the action synch) But I have to tell you, 1:21-1:15 fit perfectly. Good job on that. 1:37-1:46 was good too, but the frame of naruto at (late) 1:37 detracted from it. 2:02-2:05 was okay, but you repeated scenes after that, wich was annoying. 2:41-2:43 seemed bad at first, until I saw the huge climax at 2:44-2:48 which brought it together, but even that culd have been better. I understand making that scene last so long, but a fade at the end would have topped it off perfectly in my opinion. There were othe good parts too, but these stood out the most to me.

The Bad: It had a DivX Logo, and Subtitles. try to avoid that in the future. It had no real story, which would have been acceptable since it's action, and action doesn't need story, but unfortunately, you completely missed some synch, but then again, you hit some perfectly, so that was a lot of hit and miss. Some areas were flat outconfusing from jumping around too much though. I'd suggest trying to focus on one character or preferably one fight per "climax." Some areas like 0:46-0:48 were jumpy, which was distracting, same for clips that were too short like at 0:48. I suggest working hardewr at making clips hit the major beats better. some actions came almost a second afetr the last major beat, which took me out of the experience. 1:47-2:00 needed more work, it didn't really keep with the music, and the quick chage of fights at 2:01 completely removed me from the experience. 2:06-2:22 was jumpy, and hard to pay attention to. Even slow sections need synch. 2:23 was just wierd though, and 2:24-2:26 was heavily pixelated and seemed out of place. There was more as well, but all of that are basically the same problem.

The ugly: No offense, but the quality was bad (sub par at best, though there were some acceptable parts). Even wth WMM, you can have better image quality. It was acceptable, but painful for anything bigger than the original size. Pixelation became very noticable in some areas, but I won't hold that aganst you too much since this was a first vid

Overall: 4.9 out of 10 (with 5 being average, no school grading). Good at times, but bad to sub-par at others, but the subtitle and DivX logos need to go (along with the pixelation). Try getting some DVD footage instead of downladed footage next time as well. In conclusion:

It was decent for your first. When exporting your video, don't just check the 'best for computer' box, check custom and choose one of the high quality. the NTSI option seems to work best.

Hey, check out my AMV, also a Naruto one, and my first. I'm very proud of it, though WMM did screw with some pixels, slowing them down or something. Anyway, take a look for your self.

This vid was better than your first. While the action was still hit and miss at times, you did well for the most part, and the quality is much better tha your first vid. Unfortunately, it still has subtitles, in fact it has more subs than last time. And there are also some pixelation problems, but the overall quality has improved, As with last time, try to get some DVD footage for future vids. You did well on this vid. Big improvement over last time. Still has bugs, but a good vid overall.

As a side note, I don't make reviewing AMVs a habit, but you hapopened to be lucky and I was in the mood to write a review last time. I'm not sure if I'll write future reviews for you, it just depends on how I feel

And next time, make a new thread for your new vid.
