Premiere
premeire isn't free...

Pwolf
IT BETTER BLOODY NOT BE AFTER THE $500+ I SPENT ON IT!!!![/angst]
:P

but yeh i second what Pwolf said about Magix. I've had a fiddle with that and it's amazing some of the things you can do with it for a $50 program  and if memory serves Koop made "Euphoria" in Magix, so it obviously has most things a creator needs. But yeh, keep saving for Premiere it's well worth it (that's if you get a non-crashy version). As far as i've heard Premiere 6.0 is the least crash prone, and is the version i run.

I hear Discreet's Combustion is the perfect solution for novices.

Pwolf wrote:... for a cheap/good editor, you can go for Magix Movie Edit Pro <strike>2005</strike> 10 (or 10+ if you want to order it from the UK). it's about $50 (or $70 for the UK version of 10+ shipped - take a look on ebay for it!).

Pwolf
corrected that for ya Pwolf :)

many users of the US version on the MAGIX forum are buying 10+ from the UK as they are having problems with certain video formats (however, I've never had a problem, and both of my vids below were made with MEP-10).

Well holy..! That line was enough to just totally tilt my oppinion of Magix software upside down! Not that I'm now as foolish as to think Koop klicked some pre-defined effects and there he has the famous look! XD (lol, though the pure thought IS somewhat hillarious)
No way - but knowing it's that flexible is a really good thing - I've been pondering what I could use for a start into AMV'ing too - maybe that's a good solution ::nods thoughtfully::
