Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

I didn't like it.

Song and Anime don't go together. Actually Elfen Lied *%§&$&/§ sucks at drama videos because everything is more of a parody of dramatic situations. Mere kitsch.

Your editing is good without any doubt and it's heading in the right direction but there were no emotions in this video. I mean come on "screams" *scenes of screaming* "and the wind" *scenes of wind blowing*. That's not really the way to get the emotions going, it just added up to the whole parody style of the series and made me feel like the song was almost being messed around with on purpose.

Sometimes when I read these threads to this kind of videos I just feel like I'm in the wrong community with people doing excellent editing on drama videos but without any emotions at all yet people go like "there were tears so it worked out for me". This is nothing personal, I just needed to say this for years and now I feel better. You can edit the way you like, since if you keep this up nothing will change with the positive feedback so you might as well ignore this post, it's just my opinion.

Nice video, needs some work at some transistions which seemed abrupt or kinda broken, but other than that it flows really well. The randomness of scenes was a double edged sword somehow, but I think I get the general idea :)

As for Ingow, he just needs some good beer and a punch in the face when I see him next weekend :P j/k
