Yes, I like them a lot. My favorite CD from them is "Fallen."

I basically like all of the songs on that CD as well.

Evansecnce = suck. Shit ass band, decent singer, crapy songwriting. Start with pianos, then four cords for the rest of the song to some angst ridden stupid bitch crying lyrics.

And when they kicked Tarja out of nightwish, I lol'd. It was rather funny to me (and still is).

Even though Tarja is a diva bitch, Nightwish rapes Evanescence. As does Lacuna Coil. Even though I don't listen to Nightwish anymore and I listened to Lacuna Coil for about 2 hours.

evanesences(probally didnt spell that right) is the worst band ever they suck ass i owuld stab out my ears before i would listin to the amy lee can sing but the music is horriable

But seriously, Amy Lee is hot, she sings well, and the guitaring isnt exactly the most complimentary to her voice but there are some songs they have that I really like. And compared to MCR she doesnt squeal like a prepubescent little girl

This thread is going nowhere fast...

Although poorly worded, the original intent of the thread was to find other people who agreed and also liked Evanescense, now you all have turned it in to a VS. scenario...which is fine, if that was what the thread was about...

as a final thought I must say that it irritates me to no end when people put down other bands, not because I like defending them, but because it's all really pointless...it's easy to say Nightwish is better than Evanscense isn't it? I mean, personally I agree with that particular statement because I love all of Nightwish's work...yet, what else do you people have to backup your statements, Lacuna Coil? Within Temptation? After Forever? Epica? Edenbridge? The list goes on, and furthermore, there has not even been any actual discussion on their styles, musically, vocally, lyrically...someone saw the perfect chance to attack a mainstream band and they took it.

Don't feel the need to put people down because there is always someone who, no matter how much better you think you are and how much knowledge you think you possess about music, will know more than you...so it's better to just keep these opinions where they belong...in your head.
