I have a dream that one day this ORG will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all AMVs are created equal, that their legality is not be an issue."

I am hoping to do an AMV with my husband's Music one day... he told me several times that the day when he finds an AMV done to his music and its not directly by me and anyone I know he will probably be estatic...

hes unsigned and I guess Legally I technically "own" his music too, so at the least the record labels couldnt tell me to stop using it... or distributing it lol...

Plus I got one AMV where I have the artist's permission to use his work, I believe he is still unsigned too, but he is also a juggler by trade... and it doesnt get any attention either...

Well, a few of my friends have their own bands, so I think I'll make an AMV to their music someday (but only if I like the songs

). I think they would appreciate seeing an AMV to their music^^

Even if you can't host the video on this site, this do not means you didn't create it, this don't quit that video to be one of your creations. =) You can still show it to people if you want.

Personally, I do Amvs because is a huge hobby for me, my most big passion, but also because it's this the way I want to follow for my future, and I love to see what everyone thinks of my works.

The thing is, when and if we decide to contact record companies that kinda draws attention our way. Saying "Hey the amv community is here. We used your music without asking and now we want to make ammends by asking permision." With a big smiley
