Gunslinger Girl - Warning: SEXUAL NUDITY

You all do realise that the characters in Gunslinger are just little girls? IMHO the sexual nudity warning would have been more appropriate and effective with a different kind of anime.

Anyway, the overall atmosphere was well set with the anime and music selection. Even though some of the action scenes went clearly beyond the audio's tempo, you still kept everything wrapped as a whole. That's the usualy setback with using music from a movie.

I really like how not only the music crescendoed, but the action/sync as well! Very nicely done!

Um. Yea. At first, I thought some of the action was a bit over-the-top given the less-than-violent music (but yea, the theme...) - though after a bit I'd gotten used to it and, as Moonie here says, there's indeed some excellent interplay between different thematic layers of intensity.

Also, yes, I think that the theme allows for more violence.

This just had a nice feel to it (even without the nudity). I really enjoyed watching the way your editing style changed with the different musical themes as they were introduced.

Nice video btw. One can only wonder what goes on in the mind of aielI_Ileia, a.k.a. "The Nasty Girl" of AMV.

We discussed it, and AquaSky/IcyCloud and I decided to share the title. (We're not quite sure what the duties entail, but we're certain that metal penises and corn will somehow come into play.)

All right, after actually watching the video, I now must apologize for accusing you of not including any metal penises. There were plentiful and neat.

The scenes fit nicely with the music, it was like watching a movie trailer...for a movie I would wait in line to see...

though...BULLET IN THE EYEBALL...ouch...

My favorite parts were the beggining and the ending, the rest of the video was very well done of course, but those were the scenes I thought fit best with the music...

Still nice atmosphere, but I think most scenes will work better if you don't know the anime beforehand.

Heh, I find that's true of a lot of AMVs. If I've seen the anime, I start thinking about the scene (because I know where it's from) instead the video itself.
