DAMN! :shock:
First few minutes of the episode, it showed a flashback of what it look like Vietnam. Some girl (I assume it's Saya) was slashing the villagers and a couple of American soldiers. I have to say, it was REALLY bloody almost close to Elfen Lied's level of violence.
And you can look at the summery here since I don't feel like typing. :|

Though I have to say, Saya and her friend are quite close! 8-)

And before anyone starts flaming that the producers made Saya a really cute high school girl instead of the original badass girl in the OVA, be aware that this series will be 52 episodes. So more likely there'll be some gradual changes with her as time goes by.

It's out in the U.S. ?!?!

I have to get it so badly! >_<

I absolutely loved the movie.
Is she kind of a pussy in the show?
And what about the animations. Does it keep up to the standards of the movie?

So far fairly weak/sissy in general, but she has a hidden personality that tears things up. 8-) Could prove to be a very enjoyable character development.

The animation is pretty good so far, but it's not movie/OAV quality for the most part. They do use some good digital animation here and there, I'd expect nothing less though from Production IG.

I just started watching that series about a day ago and it seems cool so far. But it's kinda weird though, I mean seeing Saya with short hair and cute, while the Saya I know from the movie has long hair and is anything but cute.
I kinda wished they had kept the bad ass Saya thing, but I guess the series wouldn't have been the same in that case.

The opening of Badass-gown-Saya definately made my eyes pop out. I'd like to see where they take this with the whole repressed personality thing. She definately got badass, which should be fun. But geez... 52 episodes... :shock:

Personally, I'm so looking forward to this series. I loved the movie Blood: the last vampire, and I can't wait to see more of the series. So far I've only seen the first three episodes, but It has great potential, so I'll be looking for more of it! :wink:
Why do people complain about things? Why can't they just be happy that they were made for them?
I respect everyone's right to not like something, but complaining about it will acomplish nothing...

And with how slow the episodes seem to go....I think they could've made it into just 26 episodes, but that's just me. There seems to be little activity per episode. And the ends are so cliff-hangerific! >_< GAH! Other than that I really like it so far, it's interesting.

A cliff-hanger into a boring ep start, into another cliff-hanger. I HATE it when the creators do this but I find myself [along with many others] HOOKED onto it ;_;
