Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Well what I say is, why does nod insist on encoding this? He could have had me or one of the other people do the encode and the upload. It seems like he had similar problems with the BSP Project when he upped that. I mean I understand he is in charge, but he has Windows ME and a connection that takes more than a day to up 600 megs. Come on now, I mean I was more than willing to do it for him. As well as if I can compress this down to about 200 megs I may be able to do another direct link for it off of my site server. I just want this done and to see it in all its glory

which track is yours? i didn't notice any problems with the encode except i couldn't play it in WMP and the problem at the end, which i'm guessing is caused by an incomplete upload...

the encode was a first pass using the two pass method. i decided not to do the second pass for audio and video compression. i thought it looked great and it was only 600 megs...

anyways.. uploading now. the problem that was probobly caused was because of the damn time outs. i had to keep resumeing the upload.

whenever i play the video file it works fine. i can play it in any video player. it's the full 21 minutes and 19 seconds... it had to be the upload. :(

i'm going to have to compress this again... and this time ill actually not be lazy and compress the audio and video for the lower file size.
