Hey guys do happen to know of a free dvd decrypter that i can download and use my dvds for my amvs.

Yes, the program is called DVD Decrypter. You can find it in the AMVapp located here.

now i just need to find out how to use the files after they are decrypted.

That is also covered in the avtech guide.

On a side note, you should turn off DVD Decryptor's auto update check. Otherwise you might get an unpleasant visit from some people...
