Good trailer, even though I don't like them much. Serenity was an awesome movie, but it made it finalized to me that Firefly was a direct rip off of Outlaw Star (not that I didn't know that back when it first aired on Fox in 01 or 02).
Now, on the video itself, the action synch was pretty damn on, though the hit to the head from Aisha was a bit off. The lip synch could use a lot of work, though. It felt a bit too wooden at times, and occaisionally, the expressions on the faces weren't intense enough, or were too intense, for the dialogue that's being spoken.
Still, good stuff.

Interesting responce
I must admit, I haven't seen fire fly, Nor have I yet seen Serenity. I picked the trailer:
A: Because it hadn't been done before and
B: It did seem to fit Outlaw Star's "up front" plot.
As far as the underlying plot, I won't know until I actualy see the movie.
About the video, I did my best under the sercomstances. (*sp*) I plowed through the entire boxset for anything I could use to keep continuity with what senes matched up with the show and the trailer. I'd like to think that the expressions that lacked emotion were emotions in themselves; that the characters were being more stowick (*again, sp*) dispite the situation. Other than that I hope the lip sync itself was accurate.
Thanks much.

Wow...I was really surprised with this! This is a really good trailer! Of course, some scenes didn't seem to fit and the video quality could have been improved. However, timing was really good, a lot of the other scene selections were good (I really liked Aisha fighting with Gene...that fit oh so nicely), the audio quality was good, and the general similarities between the show and the movie were displayed very well.
Good job!
