I was just wondering what was the different between direct downloading and indirect downloading. The reason why I ask is because I just made my first amv and have seen it in the search engine
but....
...it says NO for a download. I am just hoping that I can still get my video viewed soon. I've spent a long time on it and wat people to enjoy it as much as I do.

A direct link points directly to the video file (hosted on some other site).
An indirect link points to a page (again, on some other site) that will eventually lead you to the video file.
A local link, of course, means that the video is hosted here.
And I don't see why you're worried about it; your video is perfectly downloadable.

Really? Because I go to check on it and I don't have any option to download. Is it just because it's my own video?Scintilla wrote:A direct link points directly to the video file (hosted on some other site).

I already have. The request is still pending right now. I guess that it could be that one that I'm looking at...godix wrote:You have two video profiles, both which seem to be for the exact same video. One is downloadable the other is not. I'd suggest requesting a deletion on the first, non-downloadable, video profile.
