Alot of threads on here consist of dabates which can often lead to anger and frustration. I figure, people need a place where they can just have open happy discussion about what they love about anime. A place to cool off after a long debate. Get back into the happy place. I know this from experience. (lol)

So, what is everyone favorite anime and why? can't go wrong with that right?

Ok well I'm in a chat with some others right about anime but I might as well state my few.

Macross(Any series)
Mobile Suit Gundam (Any U.C. Series)
Cowboy Bebop
Full Metal Alchemist

A few others but these are the main ones.
If you want a reason that might take a while to tell you why ^_^

s'all good! I like all the ones you listed. I shall explain why.

Macross: I have only seen the second movie, but I like it becuase it was CUTE. I mean, Ishtar was so darn cute!

Mobile suit Gundam: I actually like Gundam Wing. That was my fav by far. The animation was the best. But that is just my opinion. Remember, no tension. Opinions yes, tension, no.

Cowboy bebop: what is not to like? Action, comedy, drama all wrapped into one. The animation is stunning too! And the story is deep, but the episodes don't drag on. SO GOOD!

Full Metal Alchemist: Different in every way. Havn't seen much though. Want to see more. I can see why there is such a huge craze over it right now. also has really good animation, and a story that draws you in.

Might as well tell you why I like these. Good reasons by the way.

Macross: It's a great story with a good plot. There are alot of cute points but it also manages to keep the drama alive and has some tear jerker moments. (Although I just wanna kill Minmei sometimes)

Mobile Suit Gundam: This one just has a great plot with deep meanings into everything. I wasn't a big fan of Wing after I saw the U.C. Series. But either way it was ok. The U.C. Series seem to have a great depth to them and the political debates that the soilders fight over are very prevalent.

Cowboy Bebop: Exactly what you said ^_^

Full Metal Alchemist: I liked it because it was a little more serious than most animes I have seen. Lots of drama and some very emotional moments.

There are so many anime's that I enjoy it would be hard to list them. One that isn't often discussed is Princess Nine. It is a very well done "feel good" anime, not so much about baseball but about nine girls reaching for a dream.

That said I particularly enjoy single disc movie anime. There are many excellent examples out there. They are like a good short story in a book, the story has to be very well written to fit a good movie into less than two hours.

Yay! Paranoia agent is awsome!

Despite the fact that I tend to watch mostly Romantic comedy anime, I am totally drawn in by PA. It is so different. Kinda creepy, and dark.
