MPEG2Dec3.dll
VirtualDub won't load my dvd script 'cause it says it can't load MPEG2Dec3.dll
I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me what's wrong.

MPEG2Dec3.dll is deprecated.
If you are still using DVD2AVI, then get <a href="http://www.avisynth.org/warpenterprises ... 2Dec3DG</a>.
If you are using DGIndex, then get <a href="http://neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html">DGMPGDec</a>.

Yes. So you probably shouldn't be saving whole episodes with it, just the clips you need.digifreak wrote:wait, doesn't huffyyuv take up a lot of space? does lagarith take up a lot of space too?
You can edit straight with the AVISynth scripts in WMM2 and not have to encode AVIs at all, if you keep the VOBs on your hard drive. I cover using makeAVIs to do this in my <a href="http://www.aquilinestudios.org/wmm2guide.html">guide to preparing footage for WMM2</a>; it may also be possible to use DGVFAPI (comes with DGMPGDec 1.4.x).
