New guy here! - Street Fighter Alpha - Kryptonite

Post by KenjiKun » Mon Aug 15, 2005 8:31 am

Hi. Well, this is the first time I've done an AMV. I did my best granted I only had Windows Movie Maker. I shouldn't depend on that excuse too much though huh? Anyway, I've been a huge fan of AMVs for a while now, and I've been watching a few on this site. Tell me what you think! Please be honest, giving me good feedback, and don't worry about hurting my feelings.. unless you're just out to get me! =)

Title: "If I Go Crazy" by me!
Anime: Street Fighter Alpha
Music: Three Doors Down - Kryptonite (typical song?)

Hmm.. I think that link works..
Well, thanks for looking![/url]

I dont care what anyone else says right now, that has to be one of the best AMVs I've seen using Windows MOvie Maker. I've seen the movies so many times, and I honestly say you did some very nice choices in choosing scenes. Hmmm, it might have been nice if you had some effects going on the beats, maybe not all of them, but some of them ><;;; BUt that's just more of personal preference. Some of your fadings were a little off, not by a lot though. Hmmm....I'm really not good at telling people what they need to work on, I'm just good at pointing out stuff I liked about it...I can rarely find anything bad to say about other people's AMVs. And if I do, I try and say it so nice they take it as a compliment ><;;; But anyways, the only thing I didnt like about it, was that since you were doing credits at the end for the characters in the AMV, why werent Dan, Shin (Or was it Shun...), Zangeif, or....the 2 bad people (DOnt remember what their names were...but the "gladiator" didnt really have a name) in it? Ionno, I'd figure since you did Chun-Li, Ken, and Ryu, I was expecting everyone else >< But like I said before, thats just personal preference. But enough of my ramblings, back to the point. It was very good considering you used Movie Maker.

Thank youuu! Yeah I was thinking about putting more people at the end towards the credits, but it didn't work out so well, so I just decided to deal with the three main characters. I wish I could have added more effects, but as you know, Movie Maker limits that kind of thing, and I didn't want to put any corny transitions in there that didn't look right. I do realize that I can definitely do better though! And thanks for the comment about me picking out the scenes carefully! I wanted to make sure that I didn't just get the typical scenes at the beginning and end. Thanks again... you have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear a comment or two...
