AWA PRO CONTEST DEADLINE APPROACHES!

Entering the AWA Pro contest has always been much more of a hassle than the typical contest. It requires the editor to go the extra mile to do his part to contribute to the contest. We all have to go out of our way to send the blank discs/tapes and set up the SASE envelope. We have to spend the extra hours judging. Seriously ppl it was a question, that is specifically why I brought it up! I didn't think it was fair and I asked instead of doing the dishonorable and just saying the stuff is in the mail like my parents do every holliday...

Hmm... considering the general response on the matter, unless there is some extenuating circumstance I'm not aware of (send a PM), I'm gonna recind the previous statement. Sorry, but after some more consideration I have to agree with the others and say that it's not really fair.

I know I'm runnin the wire, but I'm sending the discs today with return mailer, and Submitting via FTP when I get the Email back (just sent in a request...) tonight I hope. Looks like i'll be at my address for a month or so so.. heh.. hopefully it goes well.

no prob, I was just a little on edge b4 that last post there, no hard feeling Kuso o.0 or anybody else that feels that I blew up on them (recently... I DON'T TAKE THAT BACK MICHELLE.. OK, yeah I know lol.)

Rules state:

By accepting, understand that you will be asked to watch and judge as much as six hours worth of video entries.

If you don't like that, don't enter.

I'm lazy as well. I print out my shipping labels via USPS.com vs going to the post office and everything.

It does and it doesn't. Thanks to mix-ups and other left-hand right-hand stuff, I missed out entirely on the nominations for the 02 Pro contest. I think more than a few people have missed the deadlines for judging since Pro started. That said, I don't think anybody's ever Intentionally avoided the entirety of the judging phase.

Since I'm going 100% through the channels this time around, hopefully it won't happen. Now, the pro viewing is at your place, right?

I think there are more Pro entrants near them than there are near me.

send priority and use the flat rate envilope.

and if your REALY lazy you could even order envelopes online at their site for free. though its probably too late for that now.
