See, I wasn't aware of that.
I never said that... :?:

I actually don't know if it's possible; my copy of Windows XP is legal, so.

You can still use Microsoft Update if your copy of XP is pirated?

Sorry to mislead you, I thought you were saying that you couldn't use Update BECAUSE your XP is pirated....
Couldn't hurt to try Windows Update and see if it works, though.
I have a pirated copy of Windows XP pro since my legit copy of home ran out of CD key uses from reformating so much. You can't get automatic updates with the pirated copy unless you use a CD key changer. But I find the windows updates rather useless and annoying so I dont bother updating. SP2 is annoying and sucks.

But for the versions of Movie Maker, there is 2.0 for SP1 users and 2.1 for SP2 users. Not much of a difference between 2.0 and 2.1.

I seriously believe that the Windows Movie Maker in XP Service Pack 1 was the best one, simply because it offered the most customisability in the final renders...

When I saw my friend's version after he upgraded to Service Pack 2, I just thought to myself, it's not worth it.

Currently, as far as I recall seeing, XP is now entering or has entered Service Pack 3, which could mean yet another "improvement" to WMM. Usually, upgrading to whole Service Packs is a good idea, and will ensure you have the most up to date version.

Mines Too is Legal but as I'm nearly sure there is no problem in update pirate versions. At least being pirate, if work, is because the software is completely copied. Not always but you can try

Seriously, If you have no problem piriting your OS, getting a decent editing program through the interweb shouldn't be beyond your moral standards. Why settle with WMM?

Here's the thing. Alot of people who are against piracy arent against pirating microsoft products, due to the fact that no matter how much ms software gets pirated, they'l still be rich as hell.
