Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

YOU WIN.

F-bombs to the cutest anime evar? And then blood and Guts! Add on a wonderful editing synch, matched static with appropriate digital effect, and you have the best WMV I have seen yet on this announcement board.

Did you purposefully mess with the aspect ratio? For once, it actually ADDED, since you made your video look like totally screwed up source anyway.

Make me an avi or an MPG please, as lossless as you can get, add some better bumpers, and I'd love you forever.

OP forthcoming. Might take a few days though.

Wooohooo I win! What do I get? lol

I'm glad people are liking it, as for the aspect ratio uhm.... yes...yes i did do that on purpose  . In all honesty the aspect never looked off to me(using a 19" flatscreen) when I previewed it for the bazillionth time. So either my moniter lied to me or something.

As for converting it I'm still working on it, VirtualDub isn't wanting to work with me this week as far as ReCompression goes after it goes through TMPGEnc :).

Kionon, were you there when we had our little discussion about effects Adding to an AMV? Because I think you've found a prime example, and Aria, if this is so, I've got some re-opping to do

But yeah, I really liked this video save for a few small things, and I think you did a great job with the Elfen Lied source.

Final thoughs....
 :D

lol... guess Kyosuke's esper abilities are rubbing off on me. I can detect minute details in AMVs.... but when do I develop teleportation or sith-like electric bolts?

I believe you have to talk to your nearest Sith-Union representative about that.
