Wow, thanks, minna-san! Err, I've only been a member of the org for half a year, so I haven't gotten all the lingo straight yet (plus I'm Swedish), but I'm guessing:

GJ = Great Job
hawt = hot

It is. My last vid was about the same length, and that compressed to ~60Mb on the first pass; this one was ~230Mb after one pass, which gives you an idea of how hard this was to compress. The reason (I'm guessing) is partly the noise effects and partly the crappy source; I made this from the Australian DVD's (PAL-encoded), which suffered badly from Full Field Blending. I did what I could, but there is still some garbage left, which you can see if you go frame by frame.

Still, the ~100Mb's are worth it!

As a big FLCL fan, I can say that this kicked tremendous amounts of ass! You were able to capture and bring into view all of the stylistic stuff FLCL is associated with, and you did an awesome job doing so. Rawk on!

Some fun statistics; my old video has been downloaded 176 times in four and a half months. This new one has been downloaded 62 times in less than two days.
