The Big AMV question

I was just wondering if anybody thinks that it is possible to make a AMV that everybody will like? Personally I would have to say no since everyone has their own idea of what is good and what is bad, but I was just wondering what others think.

You basically summed it up.

Unless someone makes fullscreen video with a white background and no sound. That'll let the viewer's imagination run wild of their "ideal" video.

I think it's possible to make a video every individual who watches it will like. The problem is when you hand that video to a group.

I can't admit to liking this vid because of what others will think of me. I hate that vid because I'm jealous of the attention it gets. I'm biased against that vid over there because I've heard so much about it I can't watch it with fresh, uninfluenced eyes.

Group mentality forces the anti-sheep to deny that which makes them members of the same community - in this case, the similar enjoyment of a 'good' amv.

Is it *easy* to make a video every individual who watches it will like? Hell no. Possible, but not easy.
