- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Hooray! I had said before that you should keep at it and improvement will come - and I'm glad to see it consistently did
Good, upbeat - certainly. Glad you decided to go with this series; and to be frank, the upbeat and the very-nice-visual parts of it were the main appeal of it to me - which is why I'm glad this capitalizes on them.
No complaints whatsoever as far as editing, really - being the advocate of old-schoolish simplicity, I can only smile at the fact that this is, indeed, simple and sufficient.
The compression and resizing issues which have been mentioned are probably my only gripe with this one, but I guess you've already figured out where the problems might've been.
And uh... I'll even put it in my favorites if you promise not to bring a gun next time you're in university...
you know, because of this haircut thing

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Actually I dont think there is nothing wrong with the aspect ratio. I checked the properties on the video says its 720*480 you just put the wrong resolution on the vide info page

720x480 is still incorrect: on a square-pixel device such as a computer monitor, it yields a 3:2 aspect ratio, not 4:3, which is Kaleido Star's native aspect ratio. (As a side note, 720x480 doesn't even yield 4:3 on even NTSC or PAL TVs -- the black bars on the left and right edges of 4:3 DVD material are there to help fix that issue.)JenCM18 wrote:Actually I dont think there is nothing wrong with the aspect ratio. Cropping 8 pixels off left and right and resizing to a resolution with a width:height ratio of 4:3 (i.e. 640x480, 512x384, ...) is a more proper way to treat 4:3 material. You can get even more correct if you want, but that's what the resize calculator is for -- and honestly most people aren't going to notice the small error induced by the aforementioned method.
In any case, I still think this is a cute video :)
