I need help uploading my video
I'm a newbie, and I'm not quite sure how to use this site yet. I tried to upload my first video. I went to step one and I filled everything in, and when I clicked to go to step two, I keep getting a blank page. I can go to step 3 and 4, but I can't do step 2. Can anybody tell me why? I just signed up today, and my username is penate_c.

. So far, what I know is that you need an FTP upload program before you can actually upload, but it looks like moonslayer is just using internet explorer to upload. I wonder: Do I really need an FTP program to begin with, or can I do it moonslayer's way and upload through IE?

Sure, you can use IE (version >= 5.0) as an FTP client.
Just type in ftp://[ftpserveraddress] in the address bar, log in your
username and password, and then drag-and-drop your video onto IE.
But if somehow you can't upload with it, then maybe you need to install
IE Browsing Enhancements and Graphical FTP Helper first (downloadable
at windowsupdate). After that, enable the FTP features in the Internet
Settings.

Thanks! :)
Thanks a lot! That makes me feel a lot better because you have to pay for most of these ftp programs, lol.
Now how do I get to step 2 of the upload process? I'm still getting that blank page.

There are very few free FTP programs. Like, I use SmartFTP.
After you logged in a-m-v.org server, you should come to a blank page. (It's blank because there are no files in it.) Simply upload your video by drag-and-drop it onto the blank page. A message box should pop-up stating the upload is in progress.

Thanks, but I should be clearer
I apologize, I really should clarify my question. I guess I mean the part of the process where you enter the information for your video. Step 2: Music is what I mean. I can't access that page. It wont load for me at all. It just stays blank. I can click on Step 3 and 4 and so on, but I can't reach step 2, and because of it, I really can't move on. I'm stuck

Usually you'll get an error message when the page won't load properly, or you just won't get an option to click that page at all (the 'step 2' won't be highlighted so you can't go there, or you'll hit 'step 2' and it'll throw you to 'step 3' instead). I've never heard if it giving you a blank page.
Try clearing your cookies, and wait to see if anyone else is having this 'message-less' error with that step. Or, you can try using a different browser like firefox or opera ( www.opera.com - it's free, and you can stop using it after you set the audio). If that doesn't work, tell what song you're trying to add and see if one of the mods/admin will add it for you (assuming this isn't a site-wide) problem.
