  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

First Shadow Hearts Video

Post by Resk » Thu Jun 02, 2005 11:22 am

Ok, so I doubtthis is actually the first ever created Shadow Hearts/Shadow Hearts: Covenent video, however one thing I do know, is that this is the first video with this footage to appear in the org catelogue. True, there are videos prior to this one with the footage listed, however those have either been made with trailer footage, not uploaded, or have mismarked the anime.

Anyway, back to the video. As the Warlock Said . . . isn't my latest video, however it is my most recent uploaded video. It was premiered at AnimeNort 2005 this past weekend, where it won the criterion award for Cinematography.

The video itself is a huge acomplishment for me, because it combines my favourite song with my favourite series of games in such a way, that the two blend seamlessly together. Or at least, I feel they do.

Chances are you may not have played the game, or may not know the footage, and so in that case you might be dissapointed with the video, since a lot of the subtle meanings between the clips and the lyrics may be lost, however I believethis video is still enjoyable, and can satisfy any viewer's tastes for a good dramatic type video. I hope you enjoy it :)
