Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Legends of Honor (Lodoss/Iron Savior)

Post by Kalium » Thu May 26, 2005 11:23 pm

Yes! After many months of... uh... not doing all that much editing at all, I've finished a new video!

This one's a significant break from what I've been doing, following a significant change in my musical tastes. As a few people can testify, I've gone from Clear Channel type to metalhead (on that subject: THANK GOD!).

At some point, there was a clear guiding concept behind this video. Then it changed, mid-video. Maybe. I'm not entirely clear on what happened here conceptually, but what I set out to do isn't exactly what I wound up with. I like it, despite that.

Besides, we need more Iron Savior and more Record of Lodoss War videos around here anyway.

Now, without further delay, I present you with: Legends of Honor.

Sorry, no picture this time. Oh, and watch out for spoilers.

Sweet, between this and the Akross vids Warheart PMed me I can entirely avoid doing anything productive before work tonight.

Will post further comments after I've watched it.

Very Good. I watched the series, yet I can't seem to remember most of it. I give it a 4/5

Hm ... solid amv. There are some technical issues like to much smoothing and flickering borders but the editing is not bad. I like the use of the song lyrics since it fits good to the anime and most of the atmosphere based sceneselections.

3/5

Like I said before, it's a good, solid vid. Definitely a nice song/anime combination. I'm not usually a big fan of Lodoss, but I do enjoy this vid. Nice work.
