Quick question
K I've been lookin around for over and hour but can't find anything (maybe I'm a dumbass who knows). How does one go about making that strobe effect I see in some vids.

Adobe Premiere has a strobe light effect (at least in 5.1 and Pro), but I've never used it, because I prefer this method, which gives you more control over the process:
- Make a matte of whatever color you want to have flashing
- Plop it onto the timeline, above the main video clip
- Shorten it to one or two frames
- Repeat for as many flashes as you want
