Sorry to derail your thread there a bit on that dbz vs naruto bit, laura, (or is it valerie? I get you 2 mixed up all the time.. Sierra lorna, there thats safe ;p) Back on track, I'll be sure to get a detailed Op up for this as soon as I have enough time to sit down and write the thing. And not because I want an exchange, but because I think you deserve one ^^

I could easily see this giving Toushi a run for its money, and a candidate for best action for VCAs 2006.

...As much as I DESPISE!!! TOUSHI! This video didnt have as much meaning as that one...I mean sure there was the whole story with Naruto and Sasuke but Toushi was like...Idno it was just completly original in the fact that it flowed very well with the lyrics that were going on in the song....it still had more meaning than this vid. (Sorry if im being cruel here....trust me im just sayin whats on my mind)....Idno...NARUTO...IDNO!!!!!!

I find this one of the most enjoyable Naruto videos I've seen. Great job!

I despise Toushi as well...because it has no meaning, whatsoever. It's a go with the flow AMV.

Also, while every cut looks perfect, if you watch it again and again, over time you notice that almost all of them are off...especially the overlays at the beginning.

That's okay, I was the one who asked the question.

Lol, not only do people get us mixed up in real life, but on the Internet too, I guess. I'm Laura. (Normally we let people remember by "Laura"="Long hair", because Val has short hair. For the Internet, I guess I can say "Lorna"="Laura" or something like that...)

Ouch, that is harsh.

I enjoyed Toushi a lot as an action video because it's fun to watch, but I have to kind of admit that I don't see any "meaning" to it at all... I agree with what Pyle said about it being a "go with the flow AMV." But I agree that my video doesn't exactly have any deep meaning to it either (if you ask me, not many action videos do).

Yea Toushi and this video for that matter, really just needs to be looked at as a fun go with the flow video, to get your adrenaline pumping. Its a pointless action video, which is perfectly fine if you like that kinda stuff, which I generally do if the song and Editing is fun. Which is the case for both this one and Toushi. This video in particular gave me a strong sense of teamwork and working hard to acomplish something. It had alot of mood, energy and was just plain fun. Toushi was a little diferent in that it was just a very clever arangement of clips to make it extreamly fun to watch. This video has more mood than toushi to me, but toushi has some clever scene synchage that also makes it fun in its own way.

I do plan to write a detailed op on some of my nitpicks and such... so I'll cut it short here. One thing you definately have above toushi though is visual quality ;p

Btw, are you going to submit this to any cons... *cough* Otakon *cough* so we can all see it on the big screen?

I'm not normally too into contests, but I was actually considering entering Otakon this year. So, yeah, you'll probably be seeing this vid there.
